This is so beautiful ! The jellyfishs looks like little aliens. But I love the expressions of the two the most.....they seem to be changed....the grown up men looks so much more excisted, than the boy . Great !
interesting image! PS. how are you enjoying the lx7? got a question: the aperture ring starts at 1.4 at the widest lens end - how does it work higher up the zoom scale? obviously at 70mm or 90mm it would not be possible to get the f/1.4. this has puzzled me since i first saw this clever little camera...
Hello! The minimum aperture is f/1.4 at 24mm, f/1.5 at 28 mm, f/1.6 at 35 mm, f/1.9 at 50 mm, f/2.1 at 70 mm, f/2.3 at 90 mm and the max aperture is f/8 at all focal lengths.
It is a good point and shoot for street photography, it is very fast and reactive, it doesn't black out to register images, you can shoot again instantly. The lens is bright and allows to take photos in situations that are extreme for many other point and shoot cameras (this photo is one of them). Photos come out sharp and the autofocus is precise. These are the bright sides.
The down sides are that over 400 ISO images suck and that the blur is not a pleasant one in my opinion. I usually use the camera from 24 to 35 mm focal length and have everything in focus. The LCD is little, most of the time images there suck much more than when you look at them in a screen (though it still beats the opposite ).
what i mean was more precisely - what happens if the aperture ring is set to, say 1.4, and the lens is, say, at 50mm? anyways i have the older brother, the lx5 (lacks the aperture ring), so i know how great it suits street! thank you for answering!
